More innovative, more mobile, more ecological: GP JOULE CONNECT is realising the largest German e-mobility cluster for the sensational Pioneer Park Hanau residential construction project. Together with their client LEG Hessen-Hanau GmbH, the specialists from Reußenköge are developing an e-mobility project with truly exemplary character. Up to twelve e-mobility stations with publicly accessible AC and DC charging infrastructure and sharing offers for residents and visitors are planned. Up to 186 e-mobiles (54 e-cars, 66 e-bikes and 66 e-load bikes) will be available for use after this large-scale project has been completed. For the first time, an innovative two-stage charging, load and energy management system (LLEMS) guarantees the safe and effective supply of up to 750 private and public charging points in the neighbourhood.
Clever charging infrastructure
Around 1,600 residential units for up to 5,000 people will be built by 2024 on the 50 hectare site of the former Pioneer barracks. In addition to the up to twelve e-mobility stations with a total of 46 AC and 8 DC charging stations, at least 25% of the approximately 4,000 private parking spaces will be prepared for wallbox use. "We have designed an intelligent LLEMS for the large number of charging points, which prevents the network from overloading by controlling the charge load in the neighbourhood. It also ensures maximum efficiency of the charging process," says Manuel Reich, Managing Director of GP JOULE Connect GmbH. In addition to planning and installation, the company specialising in new forms of mobility will also be responsible for operations including billing and access management.
Smart mobility for all
The first Pioneer Park Hanau e-mobility station featuring a comprehensive sharing program will be put into operation in the short term. GP JOULE CONNECT delivers the access software in the form of a smartphone app, which can be used to book and use the e-cars and e-bikes comfortably. The CONNECT charging card also gives all residents access to several thousand charging stations in Germany. The GP JOULE CONNECT mobility management portal manages all driver charging operations and creates the respective invoices.
The Hessian Ministry of Economics is now honouring this important concept
